Tetekaka

This vestige is just below Kenko, from here there is an excellent view over Cusco. It is just beside the road that goes to the Christ statue, to Sacsayhuaman and to Kenko. What we can find here is a rock with a cave where an altar can be observed, very similar as exists inside the underground chamber of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Some small walls around the rock are present also.
A few years ago it was still used as public toilet and it was full of litter. Thanks to our indications, the INC (National Institute of Culture/ Instituto Nacional de Cultura) started to protect the vestige.

This picture is from the interior of the vestige, and is a vitrified border of an 'in situ' rock, that
because of an impact has been damaged. Clearly, because of the damage, there is a thin
layer to be observed, like a small 'film' over the surface of the rock.
